Revocation of the Vesting of Control of a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the vesting of the control in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Waimea of the reserve for a resting place for travelling stock described in the Schedule hereto.

Social Security Amendment Act 1939: Maternity Notice

Pursuant to section 13 (5) of the Social Security Amendment Act 1939, the Minister of Health hereby gives notice that advice has been received from John Andrew Kirby Cunningham, M.B., CH.B.(N.Z.), of 37B Dyers Pass Road, Christchurch, that he is unwilling to afford medical services in relation to maternity on the terms provided for in section 13 of the Social Security Amendment Act 1939, and that consequently he is entitled to recover any fees in respect of his professional services as if that Act had not been passed.

Licensing the Bay of Islands County Council to Use and Occupy a Part of the Foreshore and Bed of the Harbour at Paihia Beach as a Site for a Boat-launching Ramp

Pursuant to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits the Bay of Islands County Council (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include its successors or assigns unless the context requires a different construction), to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the harbour at Paihia Beach, as shown on plan marked M.D. 10716 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of erecting and maintaining thereon a boat-launching ramp as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1940, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

2. The annual sum payable by the licensee shall be one shilling (1s.) payable on demand.

3. The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of February 1960.

Licensing Everard Victor Judd to Use and Occupy a Part of the Foreshore and Bed of the Harbour at Maungaturoto, Kaipara Harbour, as a Site for a Barge Landing

Pursuant to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits Everard Victor Judd (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include his administrators, executors, or assigns unless the context requires a different construction), to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the harbour at Maungaturoto, Kaipara Harbour, as shown on plan marked M.D. 8453 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of erecting and maintaining a barge-landing site thereon as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1940, and the provisions of those Regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

2. The premium payable by the licensee shall be two pounds (£2) and the annual sum so payable shall be five pounds (£5).

3. The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of January 1960.
