LOWER HUTT CITY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and its amendments, and in the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, and in the matter of the Lower Hutt Borough Empowering Act 1927.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Lower Hutt City Council proposes, by virtue of the above-mentioned Acts and of all other Acts and powers it thereunto enabling, to execute a public work, to wit, the realignment of the boundaries of Gracefield Road in the City of Lower Hutt; and for the purposes of such public work the Council requires to take the land more particularly described in the Schedule hereto for street; and notice is hereby given that a plan of the said pieces of land so required to be taken is deposited at the offices of the Council, Laings Road, Lower Hutt, and is there open for inspection during ordinary office hours; and notice is hereby given that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said pieces of land should, if they have any well-grounded objection to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said pieces of land, set forth the same in writing and send such writing, within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice, to the Lower Hutt City Council at its offices situate as aforesaid.

MOUNT WELLINGTON BOROUGH COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Departure From Mount Wellington Town Plan

TAKE notice that, pursuant to section 35 (6) of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, and of a delegation to it by the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board of its powers under that subsection, the Mount Wellington Borough Council, on the 6th day of December, passed the following resolution:

“That the industrial zoning of the land immediately to the north of Frazer Road, and between Morrin Road and the future south-eastern motorway, be rezoned to a distance of 300 ft north of Frazer Road from Industrial B to Industrial C.”

WAIRoa COUNTY COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolution of the Wairoa County Council made on the 8th day of September 1959, a district scheme has been recommended for approval under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953. The scheme relates to the Nuhaka or No. 3 Section of the Wairoa County District Scheme. The scheme has been deposited in the County Council Offices, Queen Street, Wairoa, and is there open for inspection without fee, to all persons interested therein at any time when the Council’s offices are open to the public.

Objections to the scheme or any part of it shall be in writing in the form E prescribed in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, and shall be lodged at the office of the Council at any time not later than the 16th day of March 1961. At a later date every objection will be open for public inspection, and any person who wishes to oppose or support any objection will be entitled to be heard at the hearing of the objection if he notifies the County Clerk in writing within a period of which public notice will be given.

HOROWHENUA COUNTY COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, public notice is hereby given that the district scheme, under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, for Waikanae Section, County of Horowhenua, was approved by the Council, by resolution passed at its meeting held on the 14th day of December 1960, after all objections, appeals, and arbitrations relating to the scheme had been disposed of and the scheme had been amended to give effect to all objections and appeals allowed, and all amendments of the district scheme required by the Board had been incorporated.

The Council has also resolved that the scheme shall come into operation on the 1st day of January 1961.

Copies of the scheme as approved have been deposited in the Council’s office and at the Waikanae and Waikanae Beach Post Offices, and may be inspected, without fee, by any person who so requires at any time when these places are open to the public.
