MAKARA COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF POLL ON LOAN PROPOSAL

Pursuant to section 38 of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, notice is hereby given that at a poll of the ratepayers of the county towns of Porirua, Takapuwahia, and Titahi Bay, taken on the 3rd day of December 1960, on the proposal of the above-named local authority to raise a loan of £30,000 to be known as the Porirua Community Hall Loan 1960 for the purpose of erecting a community hall at Porirua resulted as follows:

The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 325
The number of votes recorded against the proposal was 312
The number of informal votes was ..... 11
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

PYNE, GOULD, GUINNESS (LTD.) TRUST ACT 1934

I, Harman Warren, Secretary of Pyne, Gould, Guinness Ltd., do solemnly and sincerely declare:

  1. That the liability of the members is limited.
  2. That the authorised capital of the company is £1,000,000.
  3. That the number of shares issued is 500,000 ordinary shares of £1 each fully paid up.
  4. That there is an issue of £400,000 “A” and “B” perpetual debenture stock which rank for payment after all creditors.
  5. That the amount of all moneys received on account of estates is £847,186 5s. 8d. for the year ended 30 September 1960.
  6. That the amount of all moneys paid on account of estates is £844,887 6s. 3d. for the year ended 30 September 1960.
  7. That the amount of the balance held on 30 September 1960 to the credit of the estates under administration is £147,755 3s. 5d.
  8. That the liabilities of the company on 30 September last were £1,831,838. Debts owing to sundry persons by the company, viz: On judgment, nil; on speciality, nil; on terminable debentures, nil; on simple contracts, £1,831,838; on estimated liabilities, nil.
  9. That the assets of the company on that day were £3,414,915.

And I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true and by virtue of the Oaths and Declarations Act 1957.

THE PERPETUAL TRUSTEES ESTATE AND AGENCY CO. OF NEW ZEALAND LTD.

I, Thomas Frederick Basire, General Manager of the Perpetual Trustees Estate and Agency Co. of New Zealand Ltd., do solemnly and sincerely declare:

  1. That the liability of the members is limited.
  2. That the capital of the company is £106,250, divided into 25,000 shares of £4 5s.
  3. That the number of shares issued is 25,000.
  4. That calls to the amount of 20s. (twenty shillings) per share have been made under which the sum of £25,000 has been received.
  5. That the amount of moneys received on account of estates under administration during the six months ended 30 September 1960 is £1,942,257 9s. 5d.
  6. That the amount of all moneys paid on account of estates under administration during the six months ended 30 September 1960 is £1,777,911 13s. 5d.
  7. That the amount of the balance held to the credit of estates under administration during the six months ended 30 September 1960 is £404,626 13s. 6d.
  8. That the liabilities of the company on the 1st day of October last owing to sundry persons by the company were: On judgment, nil; on specialty, nil; on notes or bills, nil; on simple contracts, £629,342; on estimated liabilities, nil.
  9. That the assets of the company on that date were: Government securities, £6,000; other securities, £387,928; bills of exchange and promissory notes, nil; cash on deposit and at bank, £304,292.

And I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true and by virtue of the Oaths and Declarations Act 1957.

Under the Regulations Act 1936, statutory regulations of general legislative force are no longer published in the New Zealand Gazette, but are supplied under any one or more of the following arrangements:

(1) All regulations serially as issued (punched for filing) subscription £2 per calendar year in advance.
(2) Annual volume (including index) bound in buckram, 35s. per volume. (Volumes for years 1936-37 and 1939-42 are out of print.)
(3) Separate regulations as issued.
