NOTICE is hereby given pursuant to section 269 of the Companies Act 1955, that, by a special resolution dated the 1st day of December 1960 passed by an entry in the minute book of the company in accordance with the provisions of section 362 of the said Act, the following resolution was duly passed:
"(1) That the company be wound up voluntarily.
"(2) That John Noble Beasley, of the City of Wellington, company secretary, be and is hereby appointed liquidator of the company."

BAY OF PLENTY HOSPITAL BOARD
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928.
TAKE notice that the Bay of Plenty Hospital Board, a body duly incorporated under the Hospitals Act 1957, having in or about the year 1945 for hospital purposes entered into possession of all that piece of land situated in the Borough of Whakatane containing one (1) rood, or thereabouts, being Lot 2 on Deposited Plan 12339, part of Allotment 6131 of the Parish of Waimana, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 1746, folio 90, South Auckland Registry, now intends to take such land by Proclamation for hospital purposes; and a plan showing the said land proposed to be taken is deposited at the offices of the said Board in Stewart Street, Whakatane; and all persons affected are hereby called upon to set forth in writing any well grounded objections to the execution of such works or purposes or the taking of such land and to send such writing, within 40 days of the date hereof, to the said Board at its said office.

NAPIER CITY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
NOTICE is hereby given that the Napier City Council proposes to execute a certain public work, namely, to provide land for building sites; and for the purpose of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken, and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk of the said Council, situated in Tennyson Street, Napier, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours. All persons affected by the execution of the said public work, or by the taking of the said lands, who have any well grounded objections to the execution of the said public work, or to the taking of the said lands, must set out their objections in writing and send the same, within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, to the Town Clerk at his office aforesaid.
SCHEDULE
FIRST: 7 acres and 22 perches, more or less, situated in Block IV, Heretaunga Survey District, being Lots 2, 3, and 5 on Deposited Plan 6562, which said parcel of land is part of Blocks 47 and 96, Puketapu Crown Grant District, and being part of the Ahuriri Lagoon Reserve, and being all the land in certificate of title, H.B. Volume 130, folio 163.
Secondly: 87 acres and 33.87 perches, more or less, situate in Blocks IV and VIII of the Heretaunga Survey District, being parts of Blocks 47 and 123, Puketapu Crown Grant District; parts of the said Block 47 being more particularly shown as Lot 14 and part Lots 5, 6, 22 and 23 on Deeds Plan No. 133 and being the residue of the land in certificate of title, H.B. Volume 157, folio 66.

PALMERSTON NORTH CITY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and its amendments.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Palmerston North City Council intends to take under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, the following lands required for the purposes of a bus depot:
All that parcel of land containing 2 roods 4.85 perches, more or less, being part Town Section 850, Township of Palmerston North, being Lot 1 on Deposited Plan 21563, and being part of the land in certificate of title, Volume 553, folio 221 (Wellington Registry).
A plan of the said lands is deposited at the public office of the Palmerston North City Council at Palmerston North and is there open for inspection by all persons at all reasonable hours. All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said lands are hereby required and called upon to set forth in writing any well grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands and to send such writing, within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice, to the Town Clerk of the Palmerston North City Council.

BAY OF ISLANDS ELECTRIC POWER BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Reticulation Extension Loan (No. 15) 1960, £100,000
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and its amendments, and of all other powers it thereunto enabling, the Bay of Islands Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing for the repayment of the principal, interest, and other charges on the Board's Reticulation Extension Loan (No. 15) 1960 of £100,000 authorised to be raised by the Bay of Islands Electric Power Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of supplying and distributing electrical energy for the benefit of the Bay of Islands Electric Power District, and for such purpose to do all or any of such matters and things which the Board is empowered to do by the Electric Power Boards Act 1925 and its amendments, and by all other powers and authorities it enabling, the Bay of Islands Electric Power Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of four-tenths pence (4/10ths d.) in the pound (£1) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Bay of Islands Electric Power District; such special rate to be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the said loan and be payable yearly on the 8th day of December in each and every year, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully repaid."

KAIKOHE BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Water Supply Loan of £28,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Kaikohe Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of twenty-eight thousand pounds (£28,000) authorised to be raised by the Kaikohe Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for augmenting the water supply, erecting storage, installing meters, and making reticulation extensions, the said Kaikohe Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of one and one-quarter pence (1¼d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Kaikohe Borough District; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of August and the 1st day of February in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Kaikohe Borough Council on the 8th day of December 1960.
