Declaring Land in the South Auckland Land District to be Crown Land Subject to the Land Act 1948

PURSUANT to the Coal Mines Act 1925, the Minister of Mines hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

THE land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948.

SCHEDULE

ALL that piece of land containing 1 rood 8 perches, more or less, being Allotments 118 and 119, Town of Newcastle, situated in Block VII, Newcastle Survey District, and being all the land in certificate of title, Volume 512, folio 49 (limited as to parcels).

Licensing the Buller Aquatic Club Incorporated to Use and Occupy a Part of the Foreshore and Land Below Low-water Mark in the Floating Basin, Westport Harbour, as a Site for a Launching Ramp and Retaining Wall

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits the Buller Aquatic Club Incorporated (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include its successors or assigns unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and land below low-water mark in the Floating Basin, Westport Harbour, as shown on plan marked M.D. 10634 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of erecting and maintaining a launching ramp and retaining wall thereon, as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

1. This licence is subject to Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

2. The premium payable by the licensee shall be three pounds (£3) and the annual sum so payable one pound (£1).

3. The term of this licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of November 1960.

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948 as from the 19th day of December 1960, subject to the building-line restriction contained in K. 57185, Auckland Land Registry.
