PURSUANT to section 15 of the Royal New Zealand Air Force Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to approve the following appointments, extensions of commissions, transfers, and termination of commission of officers of the Royal New Zealand Air Force.

REGULAR AIR FORCE

TECHNICAL BRANCH

Appointment

Signals Division

Squadron Leader John Percival Conyers-Brown, A.M.BRIT.I.R.E. (70234), to be temporary Wing Commander, with effect from 1 December 1960.

EDUCATION BRANCH

Extension of Commission

Flying Officer John Kendrick Barry (621324) is granted an extension of his commission until 9 February 1965.

MEDICAL BRANCH

Transfer

Flying Officer John Hayward Henderson, M.B., CH.B. (921547), is transferred from the Medical Branch, Reserve of Air Force Officers, to the Regular Air Force, for a period of four and a half years to be followed by 12 years in the Reserve of Air Force Officers. He is transferred in the rank of Flying Officer (Acting Flight Lieutenant) with seniority from 28 November 1955, with effect from 28 November 1960.

Extension of Commission

Section Officer Beverley Ethne Bowler (78152) is granted an extension of her commission until 26 January 1962.

Murray Frederick Houston (134237) is granted a commission in the Administrative and Supply Branch (Special Duties Division), Territorial Air Force, for a period of five years to be followed by four years in the Reserve of Air Force Officers. He is appointed to the rank of Flight Lieutenant, with seniority and effect from 4 July 1960.

AIR TRAINING CORPS

Appointments

Donald Alister Kjestrup is granted a commission in the Air Training Corps in the rank of Flight Lieutenant with seniority from 11 September 1959, with effect from 11 November 1960.
