Licensing Wilsons (N.Z.) Portland Cement Ltd. to Use and Occupy a Part of the Foreshore and Bed of the Harbour at Limestone Island, Whangarei Harbour, as a Site for a Wharf

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits Wilsons (N.Z.) Portland Cement Ltd., of Auckland (hereinafter called the company, which term shall include its successors or assigns unless the context requires a different construction), to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the harbour at Limestone Island, Whangarei Harbour, as shown on approved plans marked M.D. 2470 and 3001 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining a wharf thereon as shown on the said plans, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the company upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1940, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.
2. The premium payable by the company shall be two pounds (£2) and the annual sum so payable shall be ten pounds (£10).
3. The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 10th day of February 1960.
4. The master of every vessel discharging ballast at the said wharf shall have all such ballast taken away and deposited above high-water mark, or at such place as may be approved by the Minister or by any person appointed by the Minister for that purpose.

Revoking Foreshore Licence at Motukaraka, Hokianga Harbour

——

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby gives notice that the licence, originally granted on the 12th day of January 1949,* to George Harding, jun., of Motukaraka (and subsequently assigned to G. Harding’s Ltd. whose name was changed in 1952 to King and King Ltd.), to use and occupy part of the foreshore and land below low-water mark at Motukaraka, Hokianga Harbour, as shown on approved plan marked M.D. 7336 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of using and maintaining two buildings thereon as shown on the said plan, is hereby revoked.

Declaring Land Acquired for a Government Work to be Crown Land, Subject to a Building-line Restriction
