Appointing Returning Officer to Hold First Election of Members of the Otepopo Rabbit Board (Notice No. Ag. 6924)

PURSUANT to section 34 of the Rabbits Act 1955, the Director-General of Agriculture, acting under a delegation from the Minister of Agriculture for the purposes of the said section, hereby appoints

Carlyon Middleton Rickman

to be the Returning Officer to hold the first election of members of the Board of the Otepopo Rabbit District and to prepare the first ratepayers list for the district.

Sale of Land by Whakatane Agricultural, Pastoral, and Winter Show Association to the Rangitaiki Domain Board Approved (Notice No. Ag. 6922)

PURSUANT to section 2 of the Agricultural and Pastoral Societies Amendment Act 1920, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, has been pleased to approve the sale by the Whakatane Agricultural, Pastoral, and Winter Show Association to the Rangitaiki Domain Board of Allotment 181, Matata Parish, Block III, Rangitaiki Upper Survey District.

Declaration That Lands are Public Reserves

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by the New Lynn Borough Council on the 27th day of April 1959:

“That, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 13 of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the New Lynn Borough Council hereby resolves that the pieces of land vested in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the said borough and described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same are hereby declared to be public reserves for recreation purposes within the meaning of the said Act.”

Declaration That the Rangiriri Domain Shall be a Recreation Reserve and Revocation of the Reservation Over the Said Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby declares that the Rangiriri Domain described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part III of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, and shall be deemed to be a recreation reserve subject to Part II of the said Act, and further, revokes the reservation for recreation purposes over the said reserve.
