NOTICE is hereby given that applications have been made for the classification, by approval of the Minister of Customs, of the under-mentioned goods under item 338 (18) (a) (i) of the Customs Tariff of New Zealand:

Circular knitted cotton piece goods for the manufacture of cuffs for industrial work gloves.
The application will not be dealt with until 22 December 1960 and any person wishing to submit any objection thereto should do so in writing to the Comptroller of Customs, Private Bag, Wellington, on or before 22 December 1960.

Releasing Land from the Provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953 (Onewhero Development Scheme)
PURSUANT to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby declares that on the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette the land described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the said land being so subject by virtue of a notice dated 2 October 1931 and published in the Gazette, 8 October 1931, Volume III, page 2922.
