NOTICE is hereby given that applications have been made for the classification, by approval of the Minister of Customs, of the under-mentioned goods under item 338 (18) (a) (i) of the Customs Tariff of New Zealand:

Circular knitted cotton piece goods for the manufacture of cuffs for industrial work gloves.

(Tariff Notice No. 88)

Releasing Land from the Provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953 (Onewhero Development Scheme)

PURSUANT to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby declares that on the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette the land described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the said land being so subject by virtue of a notice dated 2 October 1931 and published in the Gazette, 8 October 1931, Volume III, page 2922.

PURSUANT to section 85 of the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act 1954, it is hereby notified that the registration of the Manawatu Bacon Workers’ Industrial Union of Workers, Registered No. 2059, situated at Ashhurst, will, unless cause to the contrary is shown, be cancelled on the expiration of six weeks from the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette.
