NOTICE is hereby given that the application notified in Tariff
Notice No. 25* for the classification, by approval of the
Minister of Customs, of

Galvanized shear point clouts
under item 359 (2) (a) of the Customs Tariff has been
declined.

Tariff Notice—Application for Approval of the Minister of Customs

NOTICE is hereby given that an application has been made
for the classification, by approval of the Minister of Customs,
of the under-mentioned goods under item 192 (1) (a) of the
Customs Tariff of New Zealand:

Yarns of spun rayon or mixtures of spun rayon and cotton
for use in knitting processes and having an f.o.b cost of
not more than 9s. per pound.

The application will not be dealt with until 15 December
1960 and any person wishing to submit any objection thereto
should do so in writing to the Comptroller of Customs, Private
Bag, Wellington, on or before 15 December 1960.
