Tariff Notice—Application for Approval of the Minister of
Customs
NOTICE is hereby given that applications have been made for
the classification, by approval of the Minister of Customs, of
the under-mentioned goods under item 192 (1) (a) of the
Customs Tariff of New Zealand:

  1. Spun rayon yarn for patterning in all wool socks.
  2. Dyed stretch nylon yarn for spinning with wool, for use
    in the manufacture of stretch nylon socks.
  3. Bulked yarns for the manufacture of apparel.
  4. Crimp nylon yarn for blending with wool, for use in the
    manufacture of stretch wool socks.
  5. Rayon yarn for the whipping of blanket edges.
    The applications will not be dealt with until 8 December
    1960 and any person wishing to submit any objection thereto
    should do so in writing to the Comptroller of Customs, Pri-
    vate Bag, Wellington, on or before 8 December 1960.

    1960 and any person wishing to submit any objection thereto
    should do so in writing to the Comptroller of Customs, Pri-
