Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the borrowing by the local authorities mentioned in the Schedule hereto by way of loan of the whole or any part of the respective amounts specified in that Schedule.

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby amends the Order in Council of 7 June 1950, published in the Gazette, 15 June 1950, page 772, licensing the Glendowie Boating Club (Incorporated) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and land below high-water mark at Ahu Point, Tamaki Estuary, as a site for a boatshed by adding after the words "M.D. 9057" the words "and M.D. 10866".

Exempting Land in the Westland Land District from the Operation of Part III of the Coal Mines Act 1925
COBHAM, Governor-General
PURSUANT to the Coal Mines Act 1925, His Excellency the Governor-General hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE
THE land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby exempted from the operation of Part III of the Coal Mines Act 1925.
SCHEDULE
ALL that piece of land containing 231 acres 3 roods 33 perches, more or less, being Sections 2, 15, 16, 17, and 18, Block III, Cobden Survey District, excepting all veins, beds, and seams of coal, fireclay, and other minerals, and metals, and reserving always to Her Majesty the Queen and all persons lawfully entitled to work the said coals, minerals, and metals a right of ingress, egress, and regress under the said land. The said land being more particularly shown on Survey Office Plans 3885, 3889, and 3890, and on a plan filed in the office of the Mines Department at Wellington under file 6/4/17.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General this 31st day of October 1960.
