PAPARUA COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
NOTICE is hereby given that the Paparua County Council proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the land first described in the Schedule hereto for the use, convenience, or enjoyment of a road, and the land secondly described in the Schedule hereto for road.
A plan showing the land proposed to be taken is available for public inspection at the office of the Paparua County Council, Main South Road, Sockburn. Any persons having any well grounded objection to the proposed taking should lodge their objections in writing, within forty (40) days from the date of the first publication of this notice, to the said office of the Paparua County Council.
SCHEDULE
First—All that piece of land situated in Block X of the Christchurch Survey District containing one-tenth of a perch, being part Rural Section 160; as the same is more particularly delineated on S.O. Plan 9634 and thereon coloured blue.
Secondly—All that piece of land situated in Block X of the Christchurch Survey District containing one rood four and seven-tenths perches, being part Rural Section 160; as the same is more particularly delineated on S.O. Plan 9634 and thereon coloured blue, and edged blue, both the land firstly and secondly described being extension to Bucknell Street, Upper Riccarton.

MANUKAU COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Sewerage Reticulation Loan 1960, £850,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Manukau County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £850,000 authorised to be raised by the Manukau County Council under the above-mentioned Act for sewerage reticulation, the said Manukau County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal four hundred and fifty-four pence (0·454d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the County of Manukau; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I, Hugh Drummond Lambie, Chairman of the Manukau County Council, hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Manukau County Council held on the 27th day of October 1960.

TAURANGA BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Water Supply Loan 1960, £196,000
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that at a meeting of the Tauranga Borough Council held on the 25th day of October 1960 the following resolution was passed.
That, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Tauranga Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on the Water Supply Loan 1960, £196,000, authorised to be raised by the Tauranga Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for extending the waterworks by the installation of additional trunk mains, filtration capacity, reservoirs, and other sundry works, the said Tauranga Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal seven four eight pence (0·748d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Tauranga; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of February and the 1st day of August (or yearly on the 1st day of August) in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Maoribank - Te Marua Water Supply Loan 1959, £75,500
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Hutt County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £75,500 authorised to be raised by the Hutt County Council under the above-mentioned Act for reticulation for water of the Maoribank - Te Marua area of the Mangaroa Riding of the County of Hutt, the said Hutt County Council hereby makes a special rate of 3¼d. in the pound upon the unimproved value of all rateable property in the No. 60 special-rating area of the Mangaroa Riding of the County of Hutt, comprising the Maoribank - Te Marua portion of the Mangaroa Riding of the County of Hutt; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

DUNEDIN CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Motor Vehicle Testing Station Loan 1960 of £90,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Dunedin City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £90,000 authorised to be raised by the Dunedin City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing land, erecting a building, and purchasing and installing equipment therein for the testing of motor vehicles as required by the Traffic Regulations 1956, the said Dunedin City Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·103d. in the pound (£) upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the City of Dunedin comprising the whole of the City of Dunedin; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of the resolution passed by the Dunedin City Council on the 17th day of October 1960.

PURSUANT to regulation 18/7 of the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, public notice is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolution of the Taihape Borough Council made on the 26th day of October 1960, the closing date for objections to the district scheme relating to the Borough of Taihape has now been extended to the 28th day of February 1961.
