OTANOMOMO FLAX MILLING CO. LTD.

In the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter of the Otanomomo Flax Milling Co. Ltd.
NOTICE is hereby given that the order of the Supreme Court, dated the 17th day of October 1960, confirming the reduction of capital of the above-named company from £11,000 to £5,000 and the minute approved by the Court showing, with respect to the capital of the company as altered, the several particulars required by the above Statute, was registered by the Registrar of Companies at Dunedin on the 26th day of October 1960. The said minute is in the words and figures following:

“The capital of the Otanomomo Flax Milling Co. Ltd. is £5,000 divided into 5,000 ordinary shares of £1 each fully paid, having been reduced from £11,000 divided into 6,000 cumulative preference shares of £1 each fully paid, and 5,000 ordinary shares of £1 each fully paid.”

OREPUKI SAWMILLING CO. LTD.

In the matter of section 338 of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter of Orepuki Sawmilling Co. Ltd., a dissolved company.
NOTICE is hereby given as follows:

1. That on the 2nd day of November 1959 it came to the notice of the Secretary to the Treasury that the estate or interest of the above-named Orepuki Sawmilling Co. Ltd. in all that piece of land containing thirty-eight perches (0a. 0r. 38p.), more or less, situated in the County of Wallace, being Section 18, Block IV, Town of Hirstfield, and being all the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 46, folio 47 (Southland Registry), had vested in the Crown pursuant to section 337 of the above-mentioned Act;

2. That no application has been received by the Secretary to the Treasury for the Crown’s title to the said estate or interest to be disclaimed;

3. That the Crown’s title to the said estate or interest is hereby disclaimed.

APPLICATION FOR A LICENCE FOR A WATER RACE

I, William D’Arcy Mason, of Middlemarch, farmer, hereby give notice that I have applied for a licence for a water race to divert one and a half heads of water for purposes of irrigation from any one of six points in the Taieri River in my property, being Section 19, Block X, Strath Taieri District, such points being more particularly shown on a plan filed with the said application, the water applied for to be drawn by means of a portable pumping plant and conveyed in a pipeline to portions of said Section 19.

The application and all objections thereto will be heard on Wednesday, 7 December 1960, at 10 a.m., at the Warden’s Court at Cromwell, and all objections must be filed in the Registrar’s Office and notified to me or my solicitors at least three days before the time so appointed.

NOTICE OF RESOLUTIONS

THE New Zealand Meat Producers Board has resolved:

“1. That in the opinion of the Board no substantial market for New Zealand lamb exists in Canada or in the United States of America (such territories being hereinafter in this resolution together referred to as ‘North America’).

“2. That from and after the 1st day of January 1961, no New Zealand lamb shall be exported from New Zealand for North America except by or through the Meat Export Development Company (N.Z.) Limited, a duly incorporated company having its registered office in the City of Wellington.”

FARMERS’ ADVISORY LABORATORIES LTD.

NOTICE is hereby given that a meeting of Farmers’ Advisory Laboratories Ltd. will be held on Friday, the 18th day of November 1960, at 3 p.m., at the secretary’s office, 94 Gloucester Street, Christchurch, at which a resolution for voluntary winding up is to be proposed, and that a meeting of the creditors of the Company will be held, pursuant to section 284 of the Companies Act 1955, at the secretary’s office, 94 Gloucester Street, Christchurch, on Friday, the 18th day of November 1960, at 4 p.m., at which meeting a full statement of the position of the company’s affairs together with a list of the creditors and the estimated amount of their claims will be laid before the meeting, and at such meeting the creditors, in pursuance of section 285 of the said Act, may nominate a person to be the liquidator of the company and, in pursuance of section 286 of the said Act, may appoint a committee of inspection.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

NOTICE is hereby given that the Bay of Islands County Council proposes, under the provisions of the Counties Act 1956 and the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain public work, namely, the taking of land for a road; and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken; and notice is hereby given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the County Clerk to the said Council, situate in Albert Street, Kawakawa, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such lands who have any well grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land must state their objections in writing and send the same, within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, to the County Clerk at the Council Chambers, Kawakawa.
