Price Order No. 1822 (Steel Products Manufactured by Pacific Steel Ltd.)

PURSUANT to the Control of Prices Act 1947, the Price Tribunal hereby makes the following price order:

PRELIMINARY

  1. This order may be cited as Price Order No. 1822, and shall come into force on the 4th day of November 1960.

  2. In this order:
    The expression “f.o.r.” means “free on rail”, and the expression “c and f” means “cost and freight”.

APPLICATION OF THIS ORDER

  1. This order applies with respect to the steel products manufactured by Pacific Steel Ltd. of the several kinds specified in the first column of the Schedule hereto.

FIXING MAXIMUM PRICES OF STEEL PRODUCTS TO WHICH THIS ORDER APPLIES

Manufacturer’s Prices

  1. (1) Subject to the following provisions of this clause the maximum factory selling price that may be charged or received by Pacific Steel Ltd. for any steel products to which this order applies shall be the appropriate price fixed in the Schedule hereto.

(2) The maximum factory selling prices fixed by this order are subject to the following surcharges:
Sales under 2 ton but over 1 ton at the rate of £1 per ton.
Sales of 1 ton and under at the rate of £2 per ton.

(3) The maximum prices as aforesaid are fixed for deliveries as follows:
(a) Within a radius of 25 miles of Otahuhu, free on truck at mill.
(b) At North Island ports of Whangarei, Napier, New Plymouth, and Wellington, and also at all South Island ports, “c and f” at any such port.
(c) For any other deliveries, “f.o.r.” Otahuhu.

Price Order No. 1823 (Amendment No. 8 of Price Order No. 1800) (Meat Retail)

PURSUANT to the Control of Prices Act 1947, the Price Tribunal hereby makes the following amending price order.

  1. This order may be cited as Price Order No. 1823 and shall be read together with and deemed part of Price Order No. 1800* (hereinafter referred to as the principal order).

  2. This order shall come into force on the 7th day of November 1960.

  3. The principal order is hereby amended by revoking the Third Schedule thereto, and substituting the following Schedule.

“THIRD SCHEDULE

MAXIMUM RETAIL PRICES OF MEAT TO WHICH THIS ORDER APPLIES

THE maximum retail prices of meat of the kinds, grades, and descriptions specified in the Second Schedule, shall for each meat pricing district, be the basic retail prices for those kinds, grades, and descriptions plus or minus per pound the amounts specified hereunder:
