Notifying Issue of Writs, Date of Polling, Etc.
PURSUANT to a Warrant under the hand of His Excellency the
Governor-General, dated the 31st day of October 1960,
directed to the Clerk of the Writs, I have this day issued writs
to all Returning Officers authorising them to proceed to the
election of members of Parliament for all electoral districts,
and have fixed Friday, the 4th day of November 1960, as the
last day for the nomination of candidates, Saturday, the
26th day of November 1960, as the day upon which the poll
for such elections shall (if necessary) be taken, and Tuesday,
the 20th day of December 1960, as the day on or before
which the said writs shall be returnable to me.
Dated at Wellington this 31st day of October 1960.
