BOUNDARIES OF SOUTHBRIDGE RIDING

All that area in the County of Ellesmere, Canterbury Land
District, bounded by a line commencing at the intersection of
the middle lines of the South Island Main Trunk Railway
and Tramway Road (Reserve 303), in Block VIII, Selwyn
Survey District, and proceeding south-easterly generally along
the generally south-western boundary of the Irwell Riding
hereinbefore described to the intersection of the middle lines
of Tramway Road (Reserve 303) and Rakaia and Irwell
Road in Block XVI Selwyn Survey District; thence south-
easterly generally along the generally south-western boundary
of the Leeston Riding hereinbefore described to the sea coast;
thence south-westerly along the sea coast to the middle of the
mouth of the Rakaia River; thence north-westerly up the
middle of that River to its intersection with the middle of the
Old South Road between Reserves 1723 and 1922; thence
north-easterly along the middle of that road and of the South
Island Main Trunk Railway to the point of commencement,
excluding therefrom the Southbridge Town Riding herein-
before described.

Boundaries of City of Timaru, County of Levels and Clare-
mont and Otipua Ridings of County of Levels Defined

Pursuant to section 26 of the Municipal Corporations Act
1954, the Secretary for Internal Affairs hereby defines, as
set out in the Schedule hereto, the boundaries of the City of
Timaru, the County of Levels, and the Claremont and Otipua
Ridings of the County of Levels, the previous boundaries
having been altered by Order in Council made on the 21st
day of October 1959 and published in Gazette, 22 October
1959, No. 63, page 1503.

BOUNDARIES OF CITY OF TIMARU

All that area in the Canterbury Land District bounded by
a line commencing at a point on the north-eastern side of
Christchurch-Timaru State Highway 58 (Evans Street) in
line with the middle of Grants Road, in Block X, Arowhenua
Survey District, and proceeding north-westerly along the
side of that highway to the north-western corner of Lot 84,

D.P. 751; thence south-easterly along the north-eastern bound-
aries of Lots 84 to 74 inclusive, D.P. 751, and Lot 1, D.P.

a line commencing at a point on the mean high-water mark
of the sea at the mouth of the Opihi River, and proceeding
south-westerly generally along the mean high-water mark
of the sea to the mouth of the Pareora River; thence north-
westerly generally along the middle of that river to and
along the north-eastern side of Cave-Pareora Main High-
way 223 to Burnetts Road; thence north-easterly generally
along the south-eastern side of Cave-Pareora Main Highway
223 aforesaid, to and along the north-western boundaries
of Section 71, Rosewill Settlement, Sections 19 and part 13,
Cave Village, Reserve 3852, Sections 14 and 15, Cave Village,
the crossing of a road, Lots 1 to 6, D.P. 257, and the
crossing of a road to the south-western boundary of Section
26, Cave Village; thence north-westerly along that boundary
and its production to the northern side of Timaru-Cromwell
