Appointment of an Officer of the Royal New Zealand Air Force

Pursuant to section 19 of the Royal New Zealand Air Force Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General has approved the following appointment of an officer of the Royal New Zealand Air Force.

Revocation of Appointment of the Northbank Settlers' Public Hall Board to Control a Reserve and Vesting of a Reserve in the Marlborough County Council

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the appointment of the Northbank Settlers' Public Hall Board as published in Gazette, 6 September 1956, Vol. III, page 1225, to control the reserve described in the Schedule hereto and hereby vests the said reserve in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Marlborough, in trust, for a reserve for a site for a public hall.

Board Appointed to Have Control of Arthur's Pass National Park

Pursuant to section 18 of the National Parks Act 1952, the Minister of Lands hereby appoints The Commissioner of Crown Lands for the Canterbury Land District, ex officio; His Worship the Mayor of Christchurch, ex officio, or, in his absence, a member of the Christchurch City Council to be appointed in that behalf by the said Council; George Gerard Lockwood; John Kenneth McAlpine; Lancelot William McCaskill; John Campbell Montgomery; Tainui Thomas Alfred Robins; Alexander William Scott; and Marriott Kitchener Beaumont Sheard to be the Arthur's Pass National Park Board having the control and management of the Arthur's Pass National Park, the members of such Board to hold office for a term of three years from the date hereof.

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby appoints Barry William James Brown, Eric James Crow, Ivan Charles Duxbury, Donald Lovat Fraser, Ronald Ignace Mulholland, Herbert Kitchener Murray, and Allan Campbell Reynish to be the Pigeon Bay Domain Board to have control of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto subject to the provisions of the said Act as a public domain.

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby appoints Robert Noel Barnett, Walter Simpson Birdsall, Wallace Albert Brown, John Percival Cottier, Claude John Ellery, James William Page, Claude Page Reilly, Patrick Rod Reilly, and Keith Everett Wadsworth to be the Pohara Domain Board to have control of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto, subject to the provisions of the said Act, as a public domain.
