produced to the northern side of the Ahititi-Taumarunui
State Highway; thence northerly along the northern side of
that highway to its junction with a stream intersecting Section
43, Block V, Ohura Survey District; thence northerly down
that stream to and across the Mangarakara Stream and the
Mangarakara Road to its eastern side; thence northerly up
the eastern side of the said Mangkarakara Road to the western
boundary of Section 2, Block I, Ohura Survey District; thence
northerly and easterly along the western and northern boundaries of Section 2 aforesaid to the eastern boundary of Section 2 aforesaid; thence southerly along the eastern boundaries
of Section 2 aforesaid and Sections 3 and 4, Block I, Ohura
Survey District, to the northernmost corner of Section 13,
Block V, Ohura Survey District; thence south-easterly and

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Rabbits Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
- (1) This order may be cited as the Eketahuna Rabbit District Order 1960.
(2) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette. - The boundaries of the Eketahuna Rabbit District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 15th day of May 1946,* are hereby altered and redefined and, as from the commencement of this order, the boundaries of the said district shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
BOUNDARIES OF THE EKETAHUNA RABBIT DISTRICT
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District bounded by a line commencing at a point on the right bank of the Mangaone Stream in line with the south-western boundary of Section 30A, Block IV, Mangaone Survey District; thence north-easterly along the right bank of the Mangaone Stream to the south-western boundary of Section 16, Block IV,
Mangaone Survey District; thence south-easterly along that boundary, across Mangaone Valley Road to and along Pa Valley Road to the northern boundary of Section 175, Rangitumau District; thence easterly generally along that boundary to the Tiraumea River; thence southerly generally up that river to Saunders Road; thence north-easterly along Saunders Road, Puketoi Road, and the stock road along the summit of the Puketoi Range to peg VIII as shown on S.O. Plan 13610; thence south-easterly along traverse lines through Section 27, Block III, Puketoi Survey District, to the northernmost corner of Section 23, Block III aforesaid, along the north-eastern boundaries of Sections 23, 9, 10, and 13, Block III aforesaid, the north-eastern boundaries of Sections 2 and 10, Block IV, Puketoi Survey District, the north-western boundaries of Section 9, Block IV aforesaid, and the north-western and north-eastern boundaries of Section 8, Block IV aforesaid, to the Alfredton-Weber road; thence south-westerly along the north-western side of that road to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of Section 9, Block VIII, Puketoi Survey District; thence south-easterly to and along that boundary, the south-eastern boundary of that section, and the north-eastern boundaries of Section 13, Block VIII aforesaid, and Sections 32 and 33, Block V, Owahanga Survey District, to the north-eastern corner of the last-mentioned section; thence south-westerly generally along the eastern boundary of the said Section 33 to the Waihoki Valley Road, along the northern side of that road to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Section 2, Block VIII aforesaid, to and along that boundary and the eastern boundaries of Sections 20, 222, and 22, Block XII, Puketoi Survey District, along the southern boundaries of Sections 22, 15, and 14, Block XII aforesaid, the eastern boundaries of Sections 193, 192, and 161, Whareama District, along the north-western boundaries of Section 822, Whareama District, the northern boundaries of Section 824, Whareama District, the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the middle of the Taueru River, and down the middle of that river to a point in line with the northern boundary of Section 225, Whareama District; thence westerly generally along that boundary, and northerly along the western boundaries of Sections 149 and 148, Whareama District, to the northernmost corner of the last-mentioned section; thence westerly along a right line to the easternmost corner of Section 26, Rangitumau District, and north-westerly along the north-eastern boundaries of that section and Section 25, Rangitumau District, to the northernmost corner of that section; thence south-westerly generally along the north-western boundaries of Sections 25, 24, 23, 22, and 21, the north-eastern and north-western boundaries of Section 20, the north-western, south-western, and south-eastern boundaries of Section 19, the north-western boundaries of Sections 140 and 141, all of Rangitumau District; thence north-westerly along the north-eastern boundary of Section 211, Rangitumau District, across Mangarai Road, and along the north-eastern boundary of Section 111, Rangitumau District; thence southerly along the western boundaries of that section and Section 112, Rangitumau District, to and along Clelands Road to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of part Section 118, Rangitumau District, as shown on L.T. Plan A. 345, to and along that boundary to the southernmost corner of the said part Section 118; thence north-westerly along the north-eastern boundary of Section 210, the north-eastern and western boundaries of Section 114, and the northern boundary of Section 113, all of Rangitumau District, to the Masterton-Weber via Alfredton road; thence southerly along that road and the Masterton-Castlepoint via Tinui road to the middle of the Ruamahanga River; thence northerly generally up that river to its source; thence due west along a right line to the summit of the Tararua Range; thence northerly along the summit of that range to Trig. Pukemoremore and along a right line passing through Trig. Ngapuketurua to the right bank of the Mangahao River; thence down that bank of the said river to its intersection with a right line from Trig. Arawaru to the intersection of the right bank of the Maka-kahi River with the production of the south-western boundary of Section 1, Block XIV, Mangahao Survey District; thence easterly along the said line to Section 1 aforesaid, along the south-western boundary of that section and the south-western boundaries of Sections 1A and 5, Block III, Mangaone Survey District, the south-eastern boundaries of Sections 5, 4, and 3, Block III aforesaid, the south-western boundary of Section 4A, the south-western and south-eastern boundaries of Section 33, the south-western boundaries of Sections 27 and 30, all of Block III aforesaid, the south-western boundary of Section 30A, Block IV, Mangaone Survey District, and its production to a point on the right bank of the Mangaone Stream, being the point of commencement.
