Revoking Part of a Proclamation Defining the Middle Line of
Portion of the Wellington-Napier via Woodville Railway
(Portion of Rimutaka Tunnel Deviation)

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John,
Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 23rd day of
February 1949, published in Gazette, 24 February 1949, Vol.
I, page 619, and registered as No. 3990, Wellington Land
Registry, defining the middle line of portion of the Wellington-
Napier via Woodville Railway (portion of Rimutaka Tunnel
Deviation) in so far as it affects the land described in the
Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
All those pieces of land situated in Block II, Rimutaka Sur-
vey District, Wellington R.D., described as follows:

3 0 34·53 Lot 1, D.P. 21941. Part certificate of title, Vol-
ume 781, folio 100, Wellington Land Registry.
0 0 3·51 Lot 4, D.P. 21941. All certificate of title, Volume
906, folio 33, Wellington Land Registry.
6 1 0·94 Lot 5, D.P. 21941. All certificate of title, Volume
911, folio 21, Wellington Land Registry.
All being parts Section 122, Hutt District.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,

The Papatoetoe High School Board of Governors Order 1960

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington this 5th day of
October 1960
Present:
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council
Pursuant to section 90 of the Education Act 1914, as
amended by section 10 of the Education Amendment Act
1952, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and
with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby
makes the following order.
ORDER

  1. This order may be cited as the Papatoetoe High School
    Board of Governors Order 1960.
  2. The constitution of the Board of Governors of Papatoetoe
    High School, prescribed by the Papatoetoe High School Board
    of Governors Order 1956,* is hereby varied so that, notwith-
    standing anything to the contrary in section 90 of the
    Education Act 1914, the school shall be controlled by a Board
    of Governors constituted as follows:
    (a) One member appointed by the Auckland Education
    Board;
    (b) Six members elected by the parents of the pupils
    attending the school;
    (c) One member appointed by the Governor-General;
    (d) One member appointed by the Papatoetoe Borough
    Council;
    (e) One member to be co-opted by the Board of Governors
    itself, if and when it thinks fit.
  3. The Papatoetoe High School Board of Governors Order
    1956 is hereby revoked.

    Amending an Order in Council Authorising the Kaiapoi
    Borough Council to Erect and Use Certain Electric Lines

    ORDER IN COUNCIL
    At the Government House at Wellington this 12th day of
    October 1960
    Present:
    His Excellency the Governor-General in Council
    Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the
    Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent
    of the Executive Council, hereby amends the Order in Council
    dated the 15th day of October 1918, and published in the
    Gazette on the 17th day of the same month at page 3531,
    authorising the Kaiapoi Borough Council to erect and use
    certain electric lines, by extending the duration of the said
    Order in Council until the 14th day of January 1961.

    Revoking a Licence Authorising David William Oxnam, of
    Murchison, Farmer, to Use Water for the Purpose of
    Generating Electricity

    ORDER IN COUNCIL
    At the Government House at Wellington this 12th day of
    October 1960
    Present:
    His Excellency the Governor-General in Council
    Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the
    Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent
    of the Executive Council and with the consent of the licensee,
    hereby revokes the Order in Council dated the 6th day of
    October 1948, and published in the Gazette on the 7th day
    of the same month, at page 1253, authorising David William
    Oxnam, of Murchison, farmer, to use water for the purpose
    of generating electricity.

    At the Government House at Wellington this 5th day of
    October 1960

    His Excellency the Governor-General in Council
    Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, His
    Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
    advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents
    to the borrowing by the local authorities mentioned in the
    Schedule hereto by way of loan of the whole or any part
    of the respective amounts specified in that Schedule.

    ORDER IN COUNCIL
    At the Government House at Wellington this 14th day of
    September 1960
    Present:
    His Excellency the Governor-General in Council
    Pursuant to section 112 of the Public Works Act 1928, His
    Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
    advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders
    and declares that the portions of road described in the
    Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in
    Council, become Government road.

    All those pieces of road situated in Block I, Maramarua
    Survey District, Auckland R.D.

    0 0 0·8 Part Allotment 5, Section 3, Town of Mercer;
    coloured green on plan.

    coloured green, edged green, on plan.
    As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan
    marked M.O.W. 1039 (S.O. 42209) deposited in the office of
    the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as
    above mentioned.
