Land Proclaimed as Road and Road Closed in Block VII, Cloudy Bay Survey District, Marlborough County

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as road the land described in the First Schedule hereto; and also hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE
MARLBOROUGH LAND DISTRICT
Land Proclaimed as Road
All those pieces of land situated in Block VII, Cloudy Bay Survey District, Marlborough R.D., described as follows:
A. R. P. Being
0 0 32·5} Parts Lot 16, D.P. 484, being parts Section 50,
1 0 9·7} Wairau West Registration District.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 1066 (S.O. 4476) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.
SECOND SCHEDULE
MARLBOROUGH LAND DISTRICT
Road Closed
All that piece of road containing 3 roods 36·2 perches situated in Block VII, Cloudy Bay Survey District, Marlborough R.D., adjoining part Lot 16, D.P. 484, and Lot 4, D.P. 2609, being parts Section 50, Wairau West Registration District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 1066 (S.O. 4476) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

All that piece of road containing 3 roods 0·7 perches situated in Block X, Takahue Survey District, Auckland R.D., and adjoining Section 21; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 1098 (S.O. 41851) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

All that piece of road containing 3 roods 12·5 perches situated in Block XVII, Lowry Peaks Survey District, Canterbury R.D., adjoining or passing through part Lot 2 of Section 1; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 1153 (S.O. 9530) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 14th day of December 1948, published in Gazette, 16 December 1948, Vol. III, page 1529, and registered as No. 3982, Wellington Land Registry, and the Proclamation dated the 23rd day of February 1949, published in Gazette, 24 February 1949, Vol. I, page 619, and registered as No. 3990, Wellington Land Registry, defining the middle line of portions of the Wellington-Napier Railway (portions of Rimutaka Tunnel Deviation) in so far as they affect the land described in the Schedule hereto.

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 23rd day of July 1957, and published in Gazette, 25 July 1957, Volume II, page 1362, taking land for the development of water power (Roxburgh Power Scheme) in Block I, Fraser Survey District, Block VI, Cairnhill Survey District, Block VII, Leaning Rock Survey District, and in the Borough of Alexandra, in so far as it affects the pieces of land described in the Schedule hereto, such land being no longer required.
