storekeeper, and Betty Wenola Wade, his wife, under and by virtue of Crown lease, Volume 165, folio 14, Canterbury Land Registry, and the leasehold estate in the land eighthly to thirteenthly described in the First Schedule hereto, held from Her Majesty the Queen by Morris MacKenzie Taylor, of Cheviot, farmer, under and by virtue of Crown lease, Volume 457, folio 115, Canterbury Land Registry, are hereby taken for the purposes of a road; and the leasehold estate in the land first described in the Second Schedule hereto, held from Her Majesty the Queen by Louis John Harry, of Cheviot, civil servant, under and by virtue of Crown lease, Volume 165, folio 6, Canterbury Land Registry, and the leasehold estate in the land secondly described in the Second Schedule hereto, held from Her Majesty the Queen by Morris MacKenzie Taylor, of Cheviot, farmer, under and by virtue of Crown lease, Volume 457, folio 115, Canterbury Land Registry, are hereby taken for the use, convenience, or enjoyment of a road; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 3rd day of October 1960.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 3rd day of October 1960.
