Cancellation of the Vesting of Control in the Waitomo County Council and Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby cancels the vesting of control of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Waitomo, and further revokes the reservation for a resting place for travelling stock over the land described in the Schedule hereto.

Revoking Foreshore Licence in Otaika River, Whangarei

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby gives notice that the licence granted on the 26th day of February 1959* to G. O. Prescott Ltd. to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and land below low-water mark in Otaika River, Whangarei, as a site for a loading bay as shown on plan marked M.D. 10473 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, is hereby revoked.

Licensing the Mercury Bay Boating Club to Use and Occupy a Part of the Foreshore at Whitianga, Whitianga Harbour, as a Site for a Slipway

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits the Mercury Bay Boating Club, of Whitianga (hereinafter called “the licensee”, which term shall include its successors or assigns, unless the context requires a different construction), to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and land below low-water mark at Whitianga, Whitianga Harbour, as shown on approved plan marked M.D. 8544 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining a slipway thereon as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

(1) This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

(2) The premium payable by the licensee shall be ten shillings (10s.) and the annual sum so payable one pound (£1).

(3) The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of October 1960.

Declaring Land Acquired for a Government Work to be Crown Land, Subject to Certain Rights
