Notice of Intention to Take Land for Road in Block XI,
Rangiriri Survey District, adjoining the Northern Boundary
of Huntly Borough
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the pro-
vitons of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the land de-
scribed in the Schedule hereto, together with the subsoil above
a plane 50 ft below and approximately parallel to the surface
of the said land, for road; and notice is hereby further given
that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited
in the post office at Huntly and is there open for inspection;
and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land
should, if they have any well grounded objections to the
taking of the said land, set forth the same in writing and send
the writing, within 40 days from the first publication of this
notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.
SCHEDULE
ALL those pieces of land in the South Auckland Land Dis-
trict together containing 20·1 perches situated in Block XI,
Rangiriri Survey District, being Lots 3 and 4, L.T. 36321, Lots
3 and 4, L.T.S. 4893, and Lot 2, L.T.S. 2740, being part Allo-
ment 21, Parish of Taupiri. Part certificate of title, Volume
544, folio 15, Auckland Land Registry; as the same are more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 156073 de-
posited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington,
and thereon coloured blue.

Notice of Intention to Take Land for Better Utilisation in
Block II, Paekakariki Survey District
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provi-
sions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the land described
in the Schedule hereto for better utilisation; and notice is
hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to
be taken is deposited in the post office at Ruamati South and
is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by
the taking of the said land should, if they have any well
grounded objections to the taking of the land, set forth the
same in writing and send the writing, within 40 days from the
first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at
Wellington.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 6 acres and 30 perches
situated in Block II, Paekakariki Survey District, Wellington
R.D., being part Section 4, Wainui District; as the same is
more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 876
(S.O. 24175) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works
at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange. (Being a strip
of land 100 links wide adjacent to the Cook Strait shore
line between the Whareroa Stream and Raumati.)

Declaring Land Acquired for a Government Work at Tokoroa
and Not Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land
PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the
Minister of Railways hereby declares the land described in
the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land
Act 1948 as from the 5th day of September 1960.

The Control of Prices (Positive List) Notice 1957, Amend-
ment No. 25
PURSUANT to the Control of Prices Act 1947, the Minister
of Industries and Commerce hereby gives the following
notice:
- This notice may be cited as the Control of Prices (Posi-
tive List) Notice 1957, Amendment No. 25, and shall be
read together with and deemed to be part of the Control of
Prices (Positive List) Notice 1957* (hereinafter referred
to as the principal notice). - This notice shall come into force on the 2nd day of
September 1960. - The principal notice shall cease to apply in respect of
the services set out in the Schedule hereto. - The principal notice is hereby consequentially amended
by omitting from the Schedule thereto all references to the
services referred to in the Schedule in respect of which,
pursuant to clause 3 hereof, the principal notice no longer
applies.

Regulations 1940
PURSUANT to regulation 5 of the Motor Drivers Regulations
1940, the Minister of Transport hereby approves of the person
named in column 2 of the Schedule hereunder being a test-
ing officer under the said regulations for the authority
specified in column 1 of the said Schedule.
