BOROUGH OF ROTORUA


TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Rotorua Borough
Council, at its meeting held on the 18th day of August 1960,
has resolved to prepare for that area previously situated in
the Rotorua County and comprising the Koutu-Kawaha Point
and Western Heights areas, which came into the Borough as
at 1 July 1960, a district scheme as required by the provisions
of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953.

Every person and every local authority in the district is
hereby invited to submit any proposals which, in his or its
opinion, should be considered in the preparation of the pro-
posed scheme.

Proposals marked “Rotorua Borough District Scheme
Western Area” should be addressed to the Town Clerk and
delivered at the Town Clerk’s office on or before the 25th day
of October 1960.

HOROWHENUA COUNTY COUNCIL


TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Public Notification of Variation No. 1, Waikanae Section,
County of Horowhenua District Scheme

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that pursuant to a resolution
of the Horowhenua County Council, made on the 9th day
of March 1960, a district variation has been recommended for
approval under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953.
The variation relates to extension of Commercial B zone along
State highway from Perrett’s store to Te Moana Road. The
variation has been deposited in the County Office, Bath
Street, Levin, and Post Office, Waikanae, in accordance with
section 22 (1) of that Act, and is there open for inspection,
without fee, to all persons interested therein at any time
when the above places are open to the public.

Objections to the variation or to any part thereof shall be
in writing in form E prescribed in the First Schedule to the
Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, and shall be
lodged at the office of the Council at any time not later than
30 November 1960. At a later date every objection will be
open for public inspection, and any person who wishes to
support or oppose any objection will be entitled to be heard
at the hearing of objections if he notifies the County Clerk
in writing within the period of which public notice will be
given.

The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday
evening of each week, and notices for insertion must be
received by the Government Printer before 12 o’clock of the
day preceding publication.

(2) Annual volume (including index) bound in buckram,
35s. per volume. (Volumes for years 1936–37 and
1939–42 are out of print.)
(3) Separate regulations as issued.
