PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Railways hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948 as from the 15th day of August 1960.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared Crown land: 4 acres 2 roods 35·4 perches. Part Railway land situated in the Borough of Temuka. (S.O. 9696.)

In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 16670 deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Extending a 30 Miles Per Hour Speed Limit

———

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1949, the Minister of Transport hereby gives notice as follows:

That Warrant under section 36 of the Transport Act 1949 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956†, dated the 17th day of November 1958,* excluding the road described in the Schedule hereto from the limitation as to speed imposed by the said section is hereby revoked.

SITUATED within Kamo Town District:

That portion of the Whangarei-Awanui via Kawakawa State Highway No. 1, now known as the No. 1 State highway (Awanui-Bluff) (from a point 6 chains south-east of its junction with Carruth Street to the southern boundary of Kamo Town District).

Extension of 30 Miles Per Hour Speed Restriction and Limited Speed Zone Declared

———

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1949, the Minister of Transport hereby gives notice as follows:

  1. That Warrant under section 36 of the Transport Act 1949, dated the 21st day of August 1951,* which relates to part of Seaview Road in Lower Hutt City is hereby revoked.

  2. The road specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 36 of the Transport Act 1949, and is hereby declared to be a limited speed zone for the purposes of the Traffic Regulations 1956†.

SITUATED within Lower Hutt City:

Seaview Road (commencing at the southern boundary of Lower Hutt City and terminating at a point 21 chains measured along the said road in a north-westerly direction from the said boundary).

Revoking a Limited Speed Zone and Closely Populated Locality Declared

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1949, the Minister of Transport hereby gives notice as follows:

  1. That Warrant under section 36 of the Transport Act 1949, dated the 24th day of November 1958,* which relates to the roads in an area at Whenuapai in Waitemata County is hereby revoked.

  2. The roads specified in the Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be a closely populated locality for the purposes of section 36 of the Transport Act 1949.

SITUATED within Waitemata County at Whenuapai:

Brighams Creek - Hobsonville Road (formerly known as the Brighams Creek - Hobsonville Main Highway No. 583) from 16 chains north-west of Trig. Road to Riverlea Road.

The two approach roads to Whenuapai Aerodrome which junction with the Brighams Creek - Hobsonville Road.

Revoking an Exclusion from Speed Limitation and Closely Populated Locality Declared

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1949, the Minister of Transport hereby gives notice as follows:

  1. That so much of the Warrant under section 36 of the Transport Act 1949, dated the 27th day of November 1951,* which relates to the road specified in the First Schedule to this notice is hereby revoked.

  2. The road specified in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a closely populated locality for the purposes of section 36 of the Transport Act 1949.

SITUATED within Henderson Borough:

Auckland-Helensville State Highway No. 6 (all that portion commencing at a point 12 chains measured along the said State highway in a northerly direction from its junction with the Henderson-Kumeu via Swanson Main Highway and terminating at the northern boundary of Henderson Borough) otherwise known as Lincoln Road.

SECOND SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Waitemata County adjacent to Henderson Borough:

Lincoln Road (from the northern boundary of Henderson Borough to the junction of Lincoln Road with Fairdene Avenue).
