PURSUANT to section 12 of the Meat Export Prices Act 1955,
notice is hereby given that the Meat Export Prices Committee
has prepared the table of minimum prices set out in the Schedule
hereto for the classes of meat set out in the said Schedule in respect
of meat exported from New Zealand for the year ending 30
September 1961.

Exemption of Caterpillar Tractor and Scraper Combination from the Usual Parking Brake Requirements ——
PURSUANT to regulation 25A of the Traffic Regulations 1956, the Commissioner of Transport hereby exempts vehicles of the class specified in the Schedule hereto from the requirements of the said regulations in relation to a parking brake, provided that the tractor and scraper are modified so as to be not readily detachable and the scoop is capable of being lowered on to the road surface to hold the vehicle when parked.

Unclaimed Property—Notice of Election by the Public Trustee to Become Manager Under Public Trust Office Act 1957, Part V ——
WHEREAS, after due inquiry, it is not known where the owner of the property described in the Schedule hereto is or whether he is alive or dead; and whereas the gross value of the said property (as estimated by the Public Trustee) does not exceed £2,000 and, for the purposes of subsection (2) of section 80 of the Public Trust Office Act 1957, the Public Trustee is satisfied that it is advisable that he should become the manager of the said property. Now, therefore, the Public Trustee, in exercise of the authority conferred upon him by the said subsection (2), hereby elects to be manager of the said property under Part V of the said Act.
