Releasing Land from the Provisions of Part XXIV of the
Maori Affairs Act 1953 (Pihama Development Scheme)

PURSUANT to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the
Board of Maori Affairs hereby declares that, on the date of
the publication of this notice in the Gazette, the land described
in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the pro-
visions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the said
land being so subject by virtue of a notice dated 22 April
1952 and published in the Gazette, 1 May 1952, Volume II,
page 745.

Plants Declared Noxious Weeds in County of Ekatahuna
(Notice No. Ag. 7045)

PURSUANT to section 3 of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the
Director-General of Agriculture, acting under a delegation
from the Minister of Agriculture for the purposes of the said
section, hereby publishes the following special order made by
the Ekatahuna County Council on the 8th day of July 1960.

SPECIAL ORDER

THAT the Ekatahuna County Council resolve, by way of
special order, that the following weeds be declared noxious
weeds within the County of Ekatahuna under section 3 of the
Noxious Weeds Act 1950:

Barberry (Berberis vulgaris)
Hawthorn (Crataegus oxyantha and Crataegus monogyna)

PURSUANT to section 85 of the Industrial Conciliation and
Arbitration Act 1954, it is hereby notified that the registration
of the Wellington and Taranaki Ice Cream and Related Pro-
ducts Industrial Union of Workers, Registered No. 1907,
situated at Wellington will, unless cause to the contrary is
shown, be cancelled on the expiration of six weeks from the
date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette.
