Approval of Testing Officers Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940

Pursuant to regulation 5 of the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940, the Minister of Transport hereby approves of the persons named in column 2 of the Schedule hereunder being testing officers under the said regulations for the authority specified in column 1 of the said Schedule.

Approval of Testing Officers Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940

Pursuant to regulation 5 of the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940, the Minister of Transport hereby approves of the person named in column 2 of the Schedule hereunder being a testing officer under the said regulations for the authority specified in column 1 of the said Schedule.

Limited Speed Zones Declared

Pursuant to the Transport Act 1949, the Minister of Transport hereby gives notice as follows:

  1. That Warrant under section 3 of the Motor Vehicles Amendment Act 1936 dated the 23rd day of August 1949* which relates to an area at Alfredton in Ekatahuna County is hereby revoked.
  2. The roads specified in the Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be limited speed zones for the purposes of the Traffic Regulations 1956†.

SCHEDULE

Situated within Ekatahuna County at Alfredton—
No. 52 State Highway (Waipukurau-Masterton via Porangahau) from a point 22 chains measured in a northerly direction from its junction with Castle Hill Road to a point 8 chains measured in a southerly direction along the said State highway from its junction with the Ekatahuna-Alfredton road (formerly known as the Ekatahuna - Alfredton Main Highway No. 860).
Castle Hill Road from its junction with No. 52 State Highway (Waipukurau-Masterton via Porangahau) to a point 14 chains measured in an easterly direction along Castle Hill Road from the said junction.
Ekatahuna-Alfredton road (formerly known as the Ekatahuna - Alfredton Main Highway No. 860) from its junction with the No. 52 State Highway (Waipukurau-Masterton via Porangahau) to a point 8 chains measured in a south-westerly direction along the said Ekatahuna-Alfredton road from the said junction.
