WAIPUKURAU COUNTY COUNCIL
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953
PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1954, public notice is hereby given that the district scheme, under the Town and Country Planning Act, for the Waipukurau County was approved by the Council by resolution passed at its meeting, held on the 7th day of July 1960, after all objections had been disposed of and the scheme had been amended to give effect to all objections allowed.
The Council has also resolved that the scheme shall come into operation on the 1st day of August 1960.
Copies of the scheme as approved have been deposited in the Council’s office and may be inspected, without fee, by any person who so requires at any time when the office is open to the public.

MAKARA COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR ROAD
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the pieces of land described in the First and Second Schedules hereto for road; and notice is hereby further given that the plans showing the lands required to be taken are deposited at the office of the Makara County Council, Porirua, and are there open for inspection during ordinary office hours; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said lands should, if they have any well grounded objections to the said taking, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing within 40 days from the date of this notice (being the date of the first publication thereof) to the Makara County Council, Porirua.

The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday evening of each week, and notices for insertion must be received by the Government Printer before 12 o’clock of the day preceding publication.
Advertisements are charged at the rate of 9d. per line for the first insertion, and 6d. per line for the second and any subsequent insertions.
All advertisements should be written on one side of the paper, and signatures, etc., should be written in a legible hand. The number of insertions required must be written across the face of the advertisement.
STATUTORY REGULATIONS
Under the Regulations Act 1936, statutory regulations of general legislative force are no longer published in the New Zealand Gazette, but are supplied under any one or more of the following arrangements:
(1) All regulations serially as issued (punched for filing), subscription £2 per calendar year in advance.
(2) Annual volume (including index) bound in buckram, 35s. per volume. (Volumes for years 1936–37 and 1939–42 are out of print.)
(3) Separate regulations as issued.
