AIR TRAINING CORPS
Appointment
George Alan Henderson is granted a commission in the Air Training Corps in the rank of Pilot Officer, with seniority and effect from 23 June 1960.

Termination of Commission
The commission of Pilot Officer Clifford Edward George, B.SC., is terminated, with effect from 6 July 1960.

Resignation
Flight Lieutenant Arnold Saunderson, B.SC., DIP.ED., resigns his commission with effect from 26 July 1960.

RESERVE OF AIR FORCE OFFICERS
Appointment
Flight Lieutenant (temp.) Stanley James Walker, M.A. (133459), to be temporary Squadron Leader, while commanding the Air Training Corps unit at Hamilton Boys' High School, with effect from 21 May 1960.

Appointment of Officers Authorised to Attest the Signatures of Maoris

PURSUANT to sections 222 and 464 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to appoint:
Alfred Charles Chalmers, building supervisor, Hawera, and Douglas Maitland Smith, field supervisor, Wanganui, being officers in the service of the Crown employed by the Department of Maori Affairs in the positions set out opposite their names, as persons authorised to attest, in accordance with the provisions of the said sections 222 and 464, the signatures of Maoris to instruments of alienation of Maori land and to instruments by way of security within the meaning of the Chattels Transfer Act 1924.
