NOTICE is hereby given that the undersigned, the liquidator of V. A. Edmonds Ltd., which is being wound up voluntarily, does hereby fix the 22nd day of July 1960 as the day on or before which the creditors of the company are to prove their debts or claims and to establish any title they may have to priority under section 308 of the Companies Act 1955, or to be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before the debts are proved or, as the case may be, from objecting to the distribution.

Notice of Result of Poll on Loan Proposal
PURSUANT to section 13 (2) of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, notice is hereby given that a poll of the ratepayers of the City of Wellington, taken on 22 June 1960 on the proposal of the above-named local authority to raise a loan of £1,282,230 to be known as the Wellington City Transport Loan 1960 of £1,282,230 for the purpose of converting the remaining tram services to trolley-bus and diesel-bus operation and ancillary works resulted as follows:
The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 5,189 The number of votes recorded against the proposal was 3,672 The number of informal votes was 50
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

TE KUITI BOROUGH COUNCIL
Resolution Making Special Rate
Waterworks Improvement Loan 1959 of £15,000
NOTICE is hereby given that at a meeting of the above Council held on the 20th day of June 1960, the following resolution was passed:
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Te Kuiti Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of fifteen thousand pounds (£15,000) authorised to be raised by the Te Kuiti Borough Council under the abovementioned Act for the purpose of improving the water-supply system and extending the reticulation, the said Te Kuiti Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of three farthings (3/4d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the whole of the Borough of Te Kuiti; and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twelve (12) years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
