NOTICE OF MEETING OF CREDITORS
NOTICE is hereby given that, by an entry in the minute book
of the company, pursuant to section 362 (1) of the Companies
Act 1955, on the 18th day of January 1960, an extraordinary
resolution was passed:
"That the company cannot by reason of its liabilities con-
tinue its business and that the company be wound up."
And notice is further given that a meeting of the creditors
of the company will be held, pursuant to section 284 of the
Companies Act 1955, at the offices of Messrs Teward,
Andrews, and Co., Public Accountants, 296 Lambton Quay,
Wellington, on the 27th day of January 1960, at 2 p.m., at
which meeting a full statement of the company's affairs
together with a list of creditors and the estimated amount of
their claims will be laid before the meeting, and at which
meeting the creditors, in pursuance of section 285 of the said
Act, may confirm the appointment of Thomas Teward as
liquidator of the company or may appoint another in his place
and, in pursuance of section 286 of the said Act, may appoint
a committee of inspection.

PURSUANT to section 284 of the Companies Act 1955 notice
is hereby given that a meeting of the George Robb Co. Ltd.
will be held on the 10th day of February 1960, at which a
resolution for voluntary winding up is to be proposed, and
that a meeting of the creditors of the company will be held,
pursuant to section 284 of the Companies Act 1955, at Prices
Building, Waimate, on Wednesday, the 10th day of February
1960, at 2 p.m. at which meeting a full statement of the
position of the company's affairs together with a list of the
creditors and the estimated amount of their claims will be
laid before the meeting, and at which meeting the creditors,
in pursuance of section 285 of the said Act, may nominate

place of business in New Zealand.
NOTE-As from the 1st day of January 1960, the business
now carried on by the company will be carried on from the
Australian address of the company, Stanmore, New South
Wales.

WAIHI BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and its
amendments, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, and of all
other powers thereunto in that behalf enabling it, the Waihi
Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of £59,000 to be known as the Waihi Borough Council
Roads Improvements Loan 1959 of £59,000 authorised to be
raised by the Waihi Borough Council under the Local Author-
ities Loans Act 1956 for the purpose of carrying out improve-
ments (forming, sealing, kerbing, etc.) for certain streets and
footpaths within the Borough of Waihi the Waihi Borough
Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of eight and one-
fourth pence (8¼d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable
value (on the basis of unimproved value) of all rateable pro-
perty in the Borough of Waihi; and that the said special rate
shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the
said loan and shall be payable on the 1st day of April in each
year and every year during the currency of such loan, being a
period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
The above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the
Waihi Borough Council held on 16 November 1959.

HASTINGS CITY COUNCIL
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953
PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Regulations
1954, public notice is hereby given that the district scheme
under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, for the area
that was on 29 November 1954 within the Borough of
Hastings, was approved by the Council by resolution passed
at its meeting held on 17 December 1959 after all objections,
appeals, and arbitrations relating to the scheme had been
disposed of and the scheme had been amended to give effect
to all objections and appeals allowed and all variations of the
scheme required by the Town and Country Planning Appeal
Board had been incorporated.
The Council has also resolved that the scheme shall come
into operation on the 1st day of February 1960.
Copies of the scheme as approved have been deposited in the
Council's office and in the public library in the district and
may be inspected, without fee, by any person who so requires
at any time when these places are open to the public.
