THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE
Licensing Skeggs Fisheries Ltd. to Use and Occupy a Part of the Foreshore and Bed of the Harbour at Karitane as a Site for a Ramp and Shed
PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits Skeggs Fisheries Ltd. (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include its successors or assigns, unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the harbour at Karitane, as shown on plan marked M.D. 10756 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of erecting and maintaining thereon a ramp and shed as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE

This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

The premium payable by the licensee shall be five pounds (£5) and the annual sum so payable ten pounds (£10).

The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of June 1960.

Declaring Land Taken for a Government Work and Not Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land
PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereunto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948 as from the 27th day of June 1960.

Excluding Roads From Speed Limitation and Declaring Limited Speed Zones
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1949, the Minister of Transport hereby:

Revokes that Warrant under section 36 of the Transport Act 1949, dated the 15th day of January 1953,* which relates to an area referred to in the said Warrant as Leamington Town District.

Excludes all roads in Cambridge Borough south of the Waikato River with the exception of the roads described in the First Schedule hereunto from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 36 of the Transport Act 1949.

Declares the roads described in the Second Schedule hereunto, to be limited speed zones for the purposes of the Traffic Regulations 1956†.

Pope Terrace (from the bridge over the Waikato River to the junction of Pope Terrace with Cook Street).
