Appointment of Members of Alexandra Lakeside Domain Board

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby appoints two members of the Alexandra Borough Council, ex officio, to be appointed in that behalf by the Borough Council to be members of the Alexandra Lakeside Domain Board, Otago Land District, in place of His Worship the Mayor of Alexandra, ex officio, and the Chairman of the Reserves Committee, Alexandra Borough Council, ex officio.

Declaring Parts of a Tribal District to be Tribal Committee Areas Under the Maori Social and Economic Advancement Act 1945

Pursuant to section 14 of the Maori Social and Economic Advancement Act 1945, the Minister of Maori Affairs hereby declares the tribal district described in the Schedule hereto to be a tribal committee area for the purposes of the said Act.

Mangakino-Pouakani Tribal District

Mangakino-Pouakani Tribal Committee Area

All that area bounded by a line commencing at the intersection of the south-eastern boundary of the Pouakani B 9A Block with a right line between Trig. Station 1774 (Titirauenga) in Block I, Marotiri Survey District, and the easternmost corner of Maraeroa A 3B 2 Block; thence proceeding north-westerly along the last-mentioned right line to the easternmost corner of Maraeroa A 3B 2 Block aforesaid; thence along right lines bearing 349° 5' distance 3508 links, bearing 349° 44' distance 10266 links, bearing 29° 13' distance 7767 links, to peg CXXX at the approximate source of the Waiteti Stream, as shown on Survey Office Plan 20946 (2) blue; thence down the middle of the Waiteti Stream and down the middle of the Waipapa River, to and up the middle of the Waikato River, to and up the middle of the Mangakino Stream, to and up the middle of the Mihianga Stream to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of Pouakani C 1A Block; thence south-easterly to and along that boundary to the south-eastern boundary of the said Pouakani C 1A Block; thence south-westerly along that boundary to and along the south-eastern boundary of Pouakani B 9A Block to the point of commencement.

Declaration That Part of the Wangaloa Domain Shall be a Recreation Reserve and Revocation of the Reservation Over the Said Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby declares that that part of the Wangaloa Domain described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part III of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, and shall be deemed to be a recreation reserve subject to Part II of the said Act, and further, revokes the reservation for recreation purposes over the said reserve.
