Appointments, Promotions, Transfers, Resignations, and Retirements of Officers of the New Zealand Army

Pursuant to section 16 of the New Zealand Army Act 1950, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government has been pleased to approve of the following appointments, promotions, transfers, resignations, and retirements of officers of the New Zealand Army:

ROYAL REGIMENT OF N.Z. ARTILLERY

Regular Force

Captain and Quartermaster G. T. Stagg, having reached retiring age for rank, is transferred to the Supernumerary List and re-engaged for a term of one year. Dated 26 May 1960.

Territorial Force

1st Field Regiment, RNZA

Lieutenant-Colonel Richard Allan Wilson, E.D., relinquishes the appointment of CO and is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, General List, Royal Regiment of N.Z. Artillery, in the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel. Dated 10 April 1960.

2nd Field Regiment, RNZA

Lieutenant Anthony Gifford Moore is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, General List, Royal Regiment of N.Z. Artillery, in the rank of Lieutenant. Dated 14 May 1960.

5th Light Regiment, RNZA

Lieutenant F. N. Griffin to be temp. Captain. Dated 1 August 1959.

6th Light Anti-aircraft Regiment, RNZA

Major A. M. Smith, E.D., from the Reserve of Officers, Regimental List, 12th Heavy Anti-aircraft Regiment, RNZA, to be Major with seniority from 13 January 1955. Dated 11 April 1960.
