Declaration of a Disaster Affecting Farming Businesses for Income Tax Purposes

PURSUANT to section 103A of the Land and Income Tax Act 1954, the Minister of Finance hereby declares the drought in the Banks Peninsula and in North Canterbury between the Waimakariri and Conway Rivers, in the period commencing on the 1st day of September 1958 and ending with the 31st day of July 1959, to be a disaster for the purposes of that section.

Burnett Family Private Burial Ground: T. D. Burnett Private Burial Ground—Change of Name of Trustee

WHEREAS Caitriana Mackay Beatoch Burnett, of Balmoral Station, Mackenzie County, was appointed on the 3rd day of September 1942 to be one of the trustees of the Burnett Family Private Burial Ground at Cave,* and on the 16th day of July 1948 to be one of the trustees of the T. D. Burnett Private Burial Ground at Mount Cook†:
Now it is hereby notified that the said Caitriana Mackay Beatoch Burnett was married on the 7th day of October 1959 to Richard Edward St Barbe Baker and continues to be a trustee as aforesaid under the name Caitriana Mackay Beatoch Baker.
