Land Taken for Better Utilisation in the City of Lower Hutt,
Together With a Right of Way

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Major-General
the Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric Barrowclough, the
Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby
proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule
hereto is hereby taken for better utilisation, together with
the right of way created by memorandum of transfer No.
385870, Wellington Land Registry; and I also declare that
this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 23rd day
of May 1960.
SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 2 acres and 23 perches,
situated in the City of Lower Hutt, Wellington R.D., being
Lot 1, D.P. 13335, being part Section 75, Hutt District. All
certificate of title, Volume 520, folio 152, Wellington Land
Registry.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Administrator
of the Government, and issued under the Seal of New
Zealand, this 10th day of May 1960.

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act
1948, I, Major-General the Right Honourable Sir Harold
Eric Barrowclough, the Administrator of the Government of
New Zealand, hereby take the land described in the Schedule
hereto for the purposes of subsection (6) of the said section
29.

TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT
ALL those pieces of land situated in Block VIII, Paritutu Sur-
vey District, Taranaki R.D., described as follows:

edged orange, on plan.
0 0 6·1 Parts Lot 1, D.P. 3053, being part Section 44,
0 0 6 Omata District; coloured blue, edged blue, on
plan.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan
marked M.O.W. 114 (S.O. 8933) deposited in the office of
the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured
as above mentioned.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, and section 4 of
the Public Works Amendment Act 1947, I, Major-General
the Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric Barrowclough, the
Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby
proclaim and declare that the leasehold estate in the land
described in the Schedule hereto, held from Her Majesty the
Queen by Marie Pauline Dent under and by virtue of Railway
Lease No. 28104, is hereby taken for the Auckland-Hamilton
Motorway; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall
take effect on and after the 23rd day of May 1960.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 13·4 perches, situated in
Block I, Otahuhu Survey District, Borough of Ellerslie, Auck-
land R.D., and being part Allotment 7, Section 12, Suburbs
of Auckland; part railway land in Proclamation No. 869 and
Proclamation No. 2222; as the same is more particularly
delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 51 (S.O. 41925) de-
posited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington,
and thereon coloured yellow.
