Vested in the Hawke’s Bay and Wanganui Education Boards
as Sites for Public Schools to be Vested in Her Majesty
the Queen

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act 1949, I, Major-General the Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric Barrowclough, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Hawke’s Bay Education Board, and the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Wanganui Education Board, as sites for public schools shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date hereof.

GISBORNE LAND DISTRICT

SECTION 3, Block XXII, Mangahopai Survey District: Area, 2 acres, more or less.

SECOND SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT

Lot 1, D.P. 13835, being part Tauangatutu Block, and part Section 3, Block IX, Mangawhero Survey District, situated in Block IX, Mangawhero Survey District: Area, 2 acres, more or less. Certificate of title, Volume 534, folio 283. As shown on the plan marked L. and S. 6/6/1044k deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Major-General the Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric Barrowclough, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for buildings of the General Government; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 16th day of May 1960.

OTAGO LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 1 rood, situated in Block XXXII, Town of Wanaka, Otago R.D., being Section 7.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Major-General the Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric Barrowclough, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for a public school; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 16th day of May 1960.

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of Crown land containing 1 rood 38 perches, situated in Block I, Piopiotea Survey District, Borough of Taumarunui, Auckland R.D., being Allotment 9, Block XIII, Taumarunui Maori Township; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 161505 (S.O. 40298) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.
