Declaring Lands in South Auckland and Canterbury Land Districts Vested in the South Auckland and Canterbury Education Boards as Sites for Public Schools to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act 1949, I, Major-General the Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric Barrowclough, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the South Auckland Education Board, and the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Canterbury Education Board, as sites for public schools shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date hereof.

FIRST SCHEDULE
SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

Lot 2, Section XII, D.P. 1964, being part Opitonui Block, situated in Block VII, Coromandel Survey District: Area, 2 acres and 10 perches, more or less. All certificate of title, Volume 91, folio 145.

SECOND SCHEDULE
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT

RESERVE 3469, situated in Block I, Waitaki Survey District: Area, 10 acres, more or less. (S.O. Plan 1473L.)

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 28th day of April 1960.

Crown Land Set Apart for State Housing Purposes in the Borough of Carterton

COBHAM, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for State housing purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 9th day of May 1960.

SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of Crown land containing 1 rood 32·11 perches, situated in the Borough of Carterton, Wellington R.D., being Lots 5 and 6, D.P. 19267, being part Section 211, Taratahi Plain Block. Part certificate of title, Volume 354, folio 20, Wellington Land Registry (limited as to title).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 11th day of March 1960.

Crown Land Set Apart for Post-office Purposes (Line Depot) and a Police Station in the Borough of Te Puke

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Major-General the Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric Barrowclough, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for post-office purposes (line depot) and that the Crown land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for a police station; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 9th day of May 1960.

FIRST SCHEDULE
SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of Crown land containing 1 acre 39·7 perches, situated in Block II, Maketu Survey District, Borough of Te Puke, Auckland R.D., being part railway land in Proclamation 3237; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 161195 (S.O. 39650) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured sepia, edged sepia.

SECOND SCHEDULE
SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of Crown land containing 1 acre 2 roods 5·2 perches, situated in Block II, Maketu Survey District, Borough of Te Puke, Auckland R.D., being part railway land in Proclamation 3237; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 161195 (S.O. 39650) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured sepia.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 28th day of April 1960.
