Economic Advancement Act 1945

PURSUANT to section 11 (2) of the Maori Social and Economic
Advancement Act 1945, the Minister of Maori Affairs hereby

PURSUANT to section 11 of the Maori Social and Economic Advance-
ment Act 1945, the Minister of Maori Affairs hereby appoints the

Appointment of Officer Authorised to Attest the Signatures
of Maoris

PURSUANT to sections 222 and 464 of the Maori Affairs Act
1953, His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased
to appoint
Rua McKinley, building supervisor, Kaitaia,
being an officer in the service of the Crown, employed by the
Department of Maori Affairs in the position set out opposite
his name, as a person authorised to attest, in accordance with
the provisions of the said sections 222 and 464, the signatures
of Maoris to instruments of alienation of Maori land and to
instruments by way of security within the meaning of the
Chattels Transfer Act 1924.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General this 4th day of April 1960.
