Town and Country Planning Act 1953, Stratford Borough:
Notice of Extension of Period of Effectiveness of Refusals
and Prohibitions
Pursuant to subsection (6) of section 38 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, notice is hereby given that the period of effectiveness of each refusal or prohibition made by the Stratford Borough Council in the interests of the Stratford Borough district scheme, which refusal or prohibition but for this notice would expire between the date of public notification hereof and the 1st day of February 1961 inclusive, is hereby extended to the said 1st day of February 1961.

Regional Planning Scheme for Marlborough
Whereas the Councils whose names are set out in the First Schedule hereto, being Councils having jurisdiction over adjacent districts, have resolved to unite for the purpose of preparing a regional planning scheme for the areas within their several jurisdictions as defined in the Second Schedule hereto:
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 7 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, notice is hereby given—
(i) That approval is hereby given to the resolution of the Councils whose names are set out in the First Schedule hereto (being Councils having jurisdiction over adjacent districts) to unite for the purpose of preparing a regional planning scheme for the area within their several jurisdictions defined in the Second Schedule hereto;
(ii) That the area to be comprised in the regional planning scheme shall be that defined in the Second Schedule hereto;
And, pursuant to section 14 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, notice is also hereby given that the Blenheim Borough Council shall be the principal Council for the purposes of the preparation of the regional planning scheme and for matters incidental thereto, and for the proper exercise and fulfilment of the powers and duties of the Regional Planning Authority.

All that area of land including the whole of the Borough of Blenheim as described in the Gazette of 30 April 1959, No. 25, page 571; the Borough of Picton as described in the Gazette of 10 August 1876, No. 44, page 560; the County of Awatere as described in the Gazette of 10 March 1932, No. 17, page 473; the County of Marlborough as described in the Gazette of 30 April 1959, No. 25, page 571; the Road Board of Kenepuru as described in the Gazette of 7 December 1939, No. 143, page 3481.

Approval of Red Reflectors for Motor Vehicles in Terms of
the Traffic Regulations 1956
Pursuant to clause (2) of regulation 41, and regulation 63 of the Traffic Regulations 1956,* the Minister of Transport hereby approves for the purposes of the said regulations red reflectors of the make and type described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
TAIL-LAMP assemblies incorporating reflex red reflectors marked “Holden 2” fitted as standard equipment to Holden motorcars.

Regulations 1940

Revoking an Exclusion from Speed Limitation
Pursuant to the Transport Act 1949, the Minister of Transport hereby gives notice as follows:
So much of the Warrant under section 36 of the Transport Act 1949 dated the 12th day of October 1955* as relates to Old Taupo Road in Rotorua Borough is hereby revoked.

Amendment to Rules of Gisborne - East Coast Acclimatisation
Society Approved
Pursuant to section 29 (4) of the Wildlife Act 1953, the Minister of Internal Affairs hereby gives notice that the amendment to rule 9 of the rules of the Gisborne - East Coast Acclimatisation Society adopted at the annual general meeting of the society held on 19 November 1959 is hereby approved by him under that subsection.
