NOTICE is hereby given that an extraordinary resolution is to be passed resolving:
“That the company cannot by reason of its liabilities continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up, and that the company be wound up voluntarily and that Mr P. M. MacShane of Christchurch, public accountant, be nominated as liquidator of the company.”
Notice is also given that a meeting of the creditors of the company will be held, in pursuance of section 284 of the Companies Act 1955, at the Chamber of Commerce Hall, Worcester Street, Christchurch, on Friday the 20th day of February 1959, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, at which meeting a full statement of the position of the company’s affairs, together with a list of the creditors, and the estimated amount of their claims will be laid before the meeting, and at which meeting the creditors, in pursuance of section 285 of the said Act, may nominate a person to be the liquidator of the company and, in pursuance of section 286 of the said Act, may appoint a committee of inspection.
Any creditor may appoint a proxy.

NOTICE OF MEETING OF CREDITORS
In the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter of Charmonte Models (Greymouth) Ltd.
NOTICE is hereby given that, pursuant to section 362 of the Companies Act 1955, Charmonte Models (Greymouth) Ltd. has duly entered in its minute book on Tuesday, 10 February 1959, the following extraordinary resolutions:
“1. That the company by reason of its liabilities cannot continue in business.
“2. That it is advisable that the company should be wound up and that the company be wound up voluntarily.
“3. That Mr C. H. Perkins, public accountant, of Christchurch, be nominated as liquidator of the company.”
And that a meeting of creditors of the said company will be held, pursuant to section 284 of the Companies Act 1955, at the office of Messrs Pickles, Perkins, and Hadlee, Public Accountants, Shaw Savill Building, corner of High and Cashel Streets, Christchurch, on Friday, the 20th day of February 1959 at 3.30 p.m., at which meeting a full statement of the position of the company’s affairs, together with a list of the creditors and the estimated amount of their claims will be laid before the meeting and at which meeting the creditors in pursuance of section 285 of the said Act may nominate a person to be liquidator of the company and in pursuance to section 286 of the said Act may appoint a committee of inspection.
The attention of creditors is drawn to the fact that proxies required for voting at the above meeting must be lodged with the Secretary, P.O. Box 2024, Christchurch, not later than Thursday, 19 February 1959.

OHINEMURI COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Bridge Renewal Loan 1958, £10,600
NOTICE is hereby given that, at a meeting of the Ohinemuri County Council held on the 11th day of February 1959, the following resolution was passed:
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Ohinemuri County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £10,600 authorised to be raised by the Ohinemuri County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of meeting Council’s share of the cost of renewing bridges, the said Ohinemuri County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·139d. in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the County of Ohinemuri, comprising the whole of the County of Ohinemuri, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 21st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

MOSGIEL BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Mosgiel Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of thirty-four thousand pounds (£34,000) authorised to be raised by the Mosgiel Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of constructing sewerage extensions and a sewage pumping station within the Borough of Mosgiel, the said Mosgiel Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of one penny (1d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the Borough of Mosgiel, comprising the whole of the Borough of Mosgiel; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of thirty (30) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
The above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Mosgiel Borough Council held on the 9th day of February 1959.

KIWITEA COUNTY COUNCIL
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953
In accordance with the provisions of the code of ordinances applicable to the undisclosed district scheme for the County of Kiwitea under the above Act, public notice is hereby given that the Council proposes to consent to the conditional use of a section of land proposed to be purchased by Mr Norman George Johnson, garage proprietor, of Cheltenham, as an extension of his business premises in an area zoned as rural under the scheme.
The Council contemplates requiring Mr Johnson to grant to it a drainage easement over the section which he proposes to purchase.
Any owner or occupier of property may object to the proposed use of the property, by notice in writing delivered to the Council at any time within one month after the first notification of this proposal (being the date hereof). Every such notice shall state the grounds of the objection. Before arriving at its decision the Council will take into account every objection received as aforesaid.
