Exempting Land in South Auckland Land District from Operation of Part III of the Coal Mines Act 1925
COBHAM, Governor-General
PURSUANT to the Coal Mines Act 1925, His Excellency the Governor-General hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE
THE land described in the Schedule is hereby exempted from the operation of Part III of the Coal Mines Act 1925.
SCHEDULE
PART Rangitoto-Tuhua 25, No. 1B 2A, situated in Block XV, Pakaumanu Survey District: Area, 94 acres 2 roods, more or less, as shown on Lands and Survey Plan, S.O. Plan 31814: saving and excepting therefrom, without liability for compensation, all minerals within the meaning of the Land Act 1948 beneath the surface of the said land and reserving always, as an easement appurtenant to the said minerals, full power and authority to work, hew, and get the said minerals, together with the right to let down the surface of the said land if in the course of working pillar extraction causes subsidence, and together with rights of ingress, egress, and regress over and under the said land.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General this 24th day of January 1958.
