church Survey District
COBHAM, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John,
Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the
Schedule hereto is hereby taken for State housing purposes;
and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on
and after the 23rd day of February 1959.
SCHEDULE
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 1 acre 1·5 perches, situated
in Block VI, Christchurch Survey District, Canterbury R.D.,
and being part Rural Section 330; as the same is more parti-
cularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 158174 (S.O.
9458) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at
Wellington, and thereon coloured sepia.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 12th day of February 1959.

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John,
Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the
Schedule hereto is hereby taken for police purposes (resi-
dence); and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take
effect on and after the 23rd day of February 1959.

ALL that piece of land situated in the Borough of Gore con-
taining 32 perches, being Lot 26, D.P. 1578, being also part

after the 23rd day of February 1959.

Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the
Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a rubbish-tip site, and
shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of
the County of Waiapu, as from the date hereinafter men-
tioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take
effect on and after the 23rd day of February 1959.

GISBORNE LAND DISTRICT
ALL those pieces of land situated in Block VIII, Tokomaru
Survey District, Waiapu County, Gisborne R.D., described as
follows:

ment of Water Power (Substation) in Block XIV, Invercargill
Hundred

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John,
Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the
First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the development of
water power (substation); and I also hereby proclaim that an
easement is hereby taken for the development of water power
(substation) over the land described in the Second Schedule
hereto, vesting in Her Majesty the Queen full and free right,
liberty, license, and authority in perpetuity to construct and
use a right of way, with the right for Her Majesty’s servants,
agents, and workmen from time to time and at all times
hereafter, to go, pass, and repass, with or without horses or
other animals or vehicles, over the said land, and to maintain,
repair, and keep open the said right of way for the purpose
of providing access to the land described in the First Schedule
hereto, such easement to be appurtenant to the said land
described in the said First Schedule.
FIRST SCHEDULE
SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 2 roods 19 perches, situated
in Block XIV, Invercargill Hundred, Southland R.D., being
part Section 28; coloured orange on plan.
SECOND SCHEDULE
SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 11·3 perches, situated in
Block XIV, Invercargill Hundred, Southland R.D., being part
Section 28 (L.T.P. 16); coloured blue on plan.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan
marked P.W.D. 157952 (S.O. 6554) deposited in the office of
the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as
above mentioned.
