PURSUANT to section 16 of the New Zealand Army Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to approve of the following appointments, promotions, transfers, resignations, and retirements of officers of the New Zealand Army:

ROYAL REGIMENT OF N.Z. ARTILLERY

Lieutenant-Colonel R. McK. Paterson, D.S.O., was promoted acting Colonel from 10 November 1959 to 25 November 1959 while employed on special duties abroad.

Regular Force

Captain Graham Neil McLaren Boswell is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, General List, Royal N.Z. Armoured Corps, in the rank of Captain. Dated 5 November 1959.

Lieutenant V. J. I. Vaney to be Captain. Dated 12 November 1959.

The appointment of 2nd Lieutenant (on prob.) B. R. Antill is confirmed in the rank of 2nd Lieutenant with seniority from 19 June 1958. Dated 1 October 1959.
