Declaration That Land is a Public Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by the Waiuku Borough Council on the 10th day of August 1959:

“That, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 13 of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Waiuku Borough Council hereby resolves that the piece of land held by the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the said Borough in fee simple and described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby declared to be a public reserve for recreation purposes within the meaning of the said Act.”

“That, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 13 of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Kaikohe Borough Council hereby resolves that the pieces of land held by the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the said borough in fee simple, and described in the Schedule hereto, shall be and the same are hereby declared to be a public reserve for recreation purposes within the meaning of the said Act.”

Declaration That Part of the Eketahuna Domain Shall be a Recreation Reserve and Revocation of the Reservation Over the Said Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby declares that the part of the Eketahuna Domain described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part III of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, and shall be deemed to be a recreation reserve, subject to Part II of the said Act, and further revokes the reservation for recreation purposes over the said reserve.

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How Proceeds of Sale Shall be Utilised

———

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the reservation as a reserve for a public park over the land described in the Schedule hereto, and further, declares that the said land may be disposed of by the Havelock North Borough Council in such manner, at such price, and on such terms and conditions as the Council shall determine, the proceeds from any such sale to be paid into the Council’s Reserves Account, such moneys to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other public reserves under the control of the Council or in or towards the purchase of other land for public reserves.
