BOUNDARIES OF OHARIU RIDING

All that area in the County of Makara bounded by a line commencing at the intersection of the eastern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 752, with the mean high-water mark, Cook Strait, being a point on the boundary of the County of Makara hereinbefore described; thence southerly along the eastern boundaries of Lot 1 aforesaid, the eastern boundaries of Komangarautawhiri A 1, A 2, A 3, and A 4d, Wairere 2A, 2B, 2C, 2D, and 2E 2, north-westerly along the south-western boundary of Wairere 2E 2 aforesaid, to the eastern corner of Section 38, Ohariu District; thence south-westerly along the south-eastern boundaries of Sections 38, 39, and 40, Ohariu District, the south-eastern boundary of the land as shown on D.P. B/271 to the northern corner of the land as shown on D.P. 9126; thence southerly generally along the north-eastern and eastern boundaries of that land, along the eastern, northern, and eastern boundaries of Section 119, Ohariu District, to the north-western boundary of the land as shown on the Scheme Plan numbered D. 514, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Wellington, being a point on the boundary of the Borough of Tawa, as described in Gazette, 1958, page 1042, thence southerly, and easterly generally along that boundary to a point on the eastern side of the Wellington-Paekakariki Centennial State Highway, being the southernmost corner of Lot 5, D.P. 12284; thence southerly generally along the eastern side of that State highway to the northernmost corner of Section 6, Paparangi Settlement, being a point on the boundary of the City of Wellington hereinbefore described; thence south-westerly generally along the north-western boundaries of the City of Wellington to a point on the north-western boundary of Section 10, Kaiwharawhara District, approximately 4 chains from its northernmost corner, to the 660 ft contour, based on the City Datum; thence north-westerly generally along the north-eastern boundaries of Makara Riding, being the north-western boundary of Section 10 aforesaid, the north-eastern and north-western boundaries of Section 11, Kaiwharawhara District, the north-western boundary of Section 57, Ohariu District, the northern boundary of the land as shown on D.P. A/3196, the south-eastern boundary of Section 104, Ohariu District, the north-eastern boundaries of Sections 104 and 79, the crossing of a public road, the north-eastern boundary of Section 76, the south-eastern and north-eastern boundaries of Section 99, all of Ohariu District, and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the mean high-water mark, Cook Strait; thence north-easterly along the mean high-water mark, Cook Strait, to the point of commencement.

BOUNDARIES OF BELMONT RIDING

All that area in the County of Makara bounded by a line commencing at the eastern corner of Section 39, Horokiwi Road District, being a point on the boundary of the County of Makara hereinbefore described; thence southerly generally along that boundary to the boundary of the City of Wellington hereinbefore described; thence northerly generally along that boundary to the northernmost corner of Section 6, Paparangi Settlement being a point on the boundary of the Ohariu Riding hereinbefore described and along that boundary to the southernmost corner of Lot 5, D.P. 12284, being a point on the boundary of the Borough of Tawa as described in Gazette, 1958, at page 1042, and along the eastern boundary of that borough to the north-eastern corner of the land as shown on D.P. 9069; thence south-easterly generally across the Wellington-Foxton Motorway to and along part of the north-eastern and south-eastern boundaries of Lot 3, D.P. 2985, the north-eastern boundaries of Lots 4 and 3, D.P. 2129, to the north-western boundary of Section 10, Takapu District; thence north-easterly along that boundary and the north-western boundaries of Sections 12 and 42, Takapu District, along part of the north-western boundaries of Sections 20 and 22, Takapu District, to the western corner of the land as shown on D.P. A/2554; thence south-easterly and north-easterly along the south-western and south-eastern boundaries of the aforesaid land to the north-eastern boundary of Section 39, Horokiwi Road District; thence south-easterly along that boundary to the point of commencement.
