Declaration That Part of the Wai-iti Domain Shall be a Recreation Reserve and Change of the Purpose of a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby declares that that part of the Wai-iti Domain described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part III of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, and shall be deemed to be a recreation reserve subject to Part II of the said Act, and further, pursuant to the said Act, changes the purpose of the said reserve from a reserve for recreation purposes to a reserve for a site for a scouts’ hall and camping ground.

Revocation of the Reservation Over Reserves Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How Proceeds of Sale Shall be Utilised

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the reservation as reserves for road purposes over the lands described in the Schedule hereto, and further declares that such portions of the said lands as are not required for a future public street may be disposed of by the Papatoetoe Borough Council at current market value, the proceeds from any such sale to be paid into the Council’s reserves account, such moneys to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other public reserves under the control of the Council or in or towards the purchase of other land for public reserves.
