ALL those pieces of land situated in Block IV, Opotiki Survey District, Gisborne R.D., described as follows:

All being land required for the improvements to the Opotiki - Te Araroa State Highway between the Tirohanga and Waiaua Bridges.

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 160228 (P.W. Gisborne 5332) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Notice of Intention to Take Land for Road and for a Main Highway Depot in Blocks V and VI, Te Kaha Survey District, Being Land Required for the Approaches to the New Kereu Bridge and the Main Highway Depot at Te Kaha


NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the land described in the First Schedule hereto for road, and the land in the Second Schedule hereto for a main highway depot; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Opotiki and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well grounded objections to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing and send such writing, within 40 days of the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.

Town and Country Planning Act 1953—County of Bay of Islands


NOTICE is hereby given that, pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, the approval granted to the Bay of Islands County Council on the 22nd day of July 1955 to prepare, recommend, and approve its district scheme by four sections, as described in Gazette, No. 12, 1 March 1956, page 275, has been varied, and approval has now been granted to the Bay of Islands County Council to prepare, recommend, and approve its district scheme by five sections as follows:

(1) Kerikeri Section: Described in Gazette, No. 12, 1 March 1956, page 275.
(2) Paihia Section: Described in Gazette, No. 12, 1 March 1956, page 275.
(3) Moerewa Section: Described in Gazette, No. 12, 1 March 1956, page 275.
(4) Russell Town District Section: Described in the Schedule hereto.
(5) Rural Section: Described in Gazette, No. 12, 1 March 1956, page 275.


SCHEDULE
BAY OF ISLANDS COUNTY DISTRICT SCHEME (RUSSELL TOWN DISTRICT SECTION)

ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, Bay of Islands County, bounded by a line commencing at a point in Block I, Russell Survey District, on the line of mean high water of the Bay of Islands (Matauhi Bay), being the north-western corner of Old Land Claim 140, and proceeding northerly, easterly, and southerly generally along the line of mean high water of the said Bay of Islands to the northern-most corner of Opito Block; thence south-westerly and westerly generally along the north-western boundaries of Opito Block and Section 8 of the aforesaid Block I, across a public road, to and along the northern boundary of part Section 20A, Block I, Russell Survey District, crossing the intervening Whakapara-Russell Main Highway to and along the northern boundary of Old Land Claim 140 to the point of commencement.

Town and Country Planning Act 1953—Piako County (Notice of Extension of Period of Effectiveness of Refusals and Prohibitions)


PURSUANT to subsection (6) of section 38 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, notice is hereby given that the period of effectiveness of each refusal or prohibition made by the Piako County Council in the interests of the Piako County district scheme, which refusal or prohibition but for this notice would expire between the date of public notification hereof and the 1st day of November 1960 inclusive, is hereby extended to the said 1st day of November 1960.

Given under the hand of the Minister of Works at Wellington this 15th day of October 1959.

PURSUANT to subsection (6) of section 38 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, notice is hereby given that the period of effectiveness of each refusal or prohibition made by the Waimairi County Council in the interests of the Waimairi County district scheme, which refusal or prohibition but for this notice would expire between the date of public notification hereof and the 1st day of November 1960 inclusive, is hereby extended to the said 1st day of November 1960.
